What We Focus On:

• Social & Motor Skills: Building friendships, communication, and coordination through guided play and group activities.

• Letter & Number Awareness: Each week, we introduce one or two letters and a number through fun, hands-on lessons. Our preschool teachers use Heggerty Phonics to increase phonemic awareness.

• Following Directions & Independence: Gently guiding children to follow routines, listen actively, and build confidence.

Our math activities are playful and purposeful! We explore:

PHONICS

With the Heggerty Phonics curriculum students develop eight core phonemic awareness skills: rhyming, onset fluency, phoneme isolation, blending, segmenting, adding, deleting, and substituting. 

Science & Discovery

Curious minds are encouraged to explore the world around them with exciting monthly science experiments that inspire hands-on learning and wonder.

Social Studies

We celebrate the seasons and special moments with Social Studies lessons that tie into holidays and cultural events, helping children connect with their community and the world.

Creative Enrichment

Each week, children participate in:

• Library – fostering a love of reading

• Art – encouraging creativity and self-expression

• Music – exploring rhythm, sound, and movement

• Spanish – learning simple words and phrases

Faith & Values

Our weekly religion lessons introduce children to kindness, gratitude, and simple spiritual concepts in age-appropriate and meaningful ways that are rooted in the Catholic tradition.
