Friday, august 1st: campus cleanup

Help us prepare our beloved campus for the coming year! Volunteers of all ages are needed. Service hours are available for Middle School and High School students.

Thursday, august 7th: New Family Orientation

Time: 6pm
Location: Adult Education Room, Located in the Corpus Christi Community Center
For Families with Students in Kindergarten to 8th Grades

At the beginning of every school year, we host an orientation program for parents that are new to our school in Kindergarten through 8th grades. During this program you will learn important information about arrival and dismissal procedures, uniform expectations, information about ordering lunch, school communication platforms and more! Current families transitioning from preschool to kindergarten, should also plan to attend this meeting. Doors will open at 5:30pm for childcare drop-off and light snacks. The meeting will begin at 6pm.

Friday, August 8th: preschool information meeting

Meeting and Breakfast for all PK2, PK3 and PK4 Families
Time: 8am - 9am
Location: Adult Education Room in the Corpus Christi Parish Community Center

All preschool parents (current families and new families) are invited to this breakfast meeting. Our teachers will cover information on arrival and drop-off procedures, daily schedules, classroom procedures, and other expectations. This is an informational session for parents, so please note that childcare will not be available. 

Friday, August 8th: Middle School Orientation for 6th-Grade Students 

Time: 1pm - 3pm 
Location: Middle School + Atrium
 
All students entering 6th grade should make plans to attend this information session. Students will be able to meet all the middle school teachers and walk through their middle school schedule. The event will end with an ice cream social for the students in the atrium. This is a student-only event. Parents should bring students to the main school building at 1:00 pm to drop them off and walk into the atrium of the community center to pick them up at 3:00 pm. 

Sunday, August 10th: Blessing of the Backpacks

Time: 9am Mass and 11am Mass
Location: Corpus Christi Church

Students of all ages are invited to bring their backpacks to Mass for a special back-to-school blessing. The blessing will occur at the end of the 9am and 11am Masses. Feel free to attend at either one of these times.
 

Sunday, August 10th: Back to School Family Lunch

Time: Following the 11am Mass until 1pm
Location: Corpus Christi Community Center Banquet Hall

Please join us following our 11am Mass for food and fellowship during our family back-to-school lunch. This will be a perfect opportunity to meet other families. Lunch will be provided. We will open the doors for lunch at 11:30am.

Sunday, August 10th: Meet the Teacher + Supply Drop-off (Grades K-8)

Time: 12:30pm - 2:30pm
 Location: Corpus Christi School Classrooms

Students and parents are invited to visit the classrooms, meet the teachers and unload supplies.
 

Sunday, August 10th: Poppin' into Preschool

For PK2, PK3 and PK4 Families
 Time: 12:30pm - 2:30pm
 Location: Preschool Building

Preschool students and parents are invited to stop by to meet their teachers, visit the classroom to enjoy a popsicle and playtime on the preschool playground. You will also have the opportunity to bring supplies to your child's classroom.

We will have Noon dismissal on this day. Please note there is NOT After School Care Available on the first day of school.

Tuesday, August 19th: Back to School Open House (K-8)

Time: 6pm - 7:30pm
 Location: Corpus Christi Community Center Banquet Hall

This is an opportunity to attend an informative school meeting and visit your student's classrooms to learn more about classroom-specific policies and procedures. Multiple classroom sessions are held for those with more than one child.

Tuesday, September 2nd: Child Protection Training 

Time: 6pm - 7pm
Location: Corpus Christi Community Center Banquet Hall

All adults who plan to volunteer in any capacity at Corpus Christi Catholic School or Parish must receive training in the Archdiocesan Child and Adolescent Training Program. We will offer this training. Our Sept. 3rd class will be held in the Banquet Hall of the Community Center. Before you attend an initial training, you must create an account with CMGConnect.

For parents who were trained in previous years, you must renew online. All individuals wishing to renew must visit their account with CMGConnect online.
